On a day trip from Dumaguete City, I joined a boat tour to the Manjuyod sandbar, someplace I’d seen on social media. Swam in cerulean waters, had the freshest sea urchin ever from a fisherman’s boat, and took so many photos. It was the perfect morning.
Later that week, I joined someone I met at the hostel on a day trip to the waterfalls and town of Valencia. We passed a monkey sanctuary along the way.
In Valencia’s town square, I came across a local market - my favourite kind of day! Had delicious budbud kabog, steamed millet cakes.
Loved the variety of places to eat and drink! Some places I went included a family restaurant along the bay, a micro brewery, local eateries, a cocktail bar.
