Returning to Daet already felt like returning home.
On a weekend island trip, we lazed under trees, bought fish from the local fishers, walked to empty breaks, watched the tides roll in.
We had such a great time that we returned the next week. Being able to do that, honestly, I thought was one of the simplest of luxuries!
Picking up fruit and vegetables also took on a whole other meaning here!
