This trip to Bohol was so different from the first time I visited with family, shortly before we moved to Canada. We also stayed then on Panglao Island in Bohol’s southern tip, a place known for incredible sunsets. And you can see why!
I spoiled myself a bit that week. These were the kinda beach days to get behind, any day.
I spent an afternoon wandering around South Farms, a beautiful retreat from the heat.
These animals were everything!
Finally, I had a taste of Bohol’s ube kinampay, and a much-awaited visit to a traditional Asin Tibuok salt maker in the town of Alburquerque - both absolute highlights of my year-long trip across the Philippines.
